Training & Consulting
Lakeside has offered exclusive training and consulting for the marine industry specializing in exteriors fabrications for over 20 years.
Our experienced staff will conduct customized seminars and workshops on the craft of making tops and covers in a very intimate format. Classes will never exceed 5 students at a time and one-on-one training is also available. Content is developed with the trainee to address specific areas of expertise. The only requirement is that the students have competent sewing skills. Classes are generally offered in the “off season” (fall and winter) Anything can be covered in a customized program, from designing, fabricating and assembling, simple cockpit or storage covers through to complex framework and complete enclosures.
We specialize in consulting with Marinas to set up in house top shops. From recommendations of tools and supplies to shop set up and layout to specific training for staff, we can get you well on your way to adding a new profit center to your business. Not only will you be adding to your bottom line, you will be providing a much needed service to your customers. Keeping them and their boats well covered will help keep them happy and coming back for more!
