The latest in high tech fabrics and materials are available at Lakeside. From the standard well-known reliable and colourful collection of “Sunbrella” Acrylics for tops and covers to the tough and versatile “Top Gun” polyester, we can cover all your needs. The top end “Seamark” and other undercoated acrylics are also available. New polyolefin and polyester-coated fabrics provide very water-resistant alternatives for mooring covers that do not shrink and remain pliable after years of use. These lighter weight fabrics are easy to manipulate and stow when not in use, and come in the most popular colours. Lakeside also offers a wide variety of window plastics depending on your needs. Super Clear 20 and 30 gauge plastics are the most popular, smoke and dark tints give more choice. High-end plastics such as “Regalite” and “Strataglass” can be ordered as well.
We custom design and fabricate required framework using a range of top quality materials from the strong yet affordable 7/8” aluminum tubing to 7/8" and 1” stainless steel tubing with stainless fittings. The newest and most ingenious hinges and mounts are available that make erecting even the most complex enclosures a breeze. All pontoons are outfitted with 1” square aluminum tubing that can easily handle the wide 8-foot beam required for the craft.
Carpeting for deck applications is a specialty here at Lakeside. Luxurious piles, practical and attractive berbers and hob-nails with the best backing for non-skid qualities are all offered and can be custom cut and bound for the perfect addition to your cockpit or bridge.
